turns out playing vinyl records is rly good for my attention span. putting on music has more weight, and it's a nice excuse to get up every twenty minutes when im working

i know this is SO BASIC but i got punisher on vinyl today and everything about it is rly beautiful. i LOVE the art and there's a lyric book inside illustrated by chris riddell that i didn't even know was there. and the tracks that are supposed to flow into each other actually sound right – the buffering between tracks is definitely noticeable on streaming now that i've heard it the way it's supposed to be
imagine if instead of being a Luxury Item, vinyl was still just how we bought music. records would be cheaper and artists would earn a living wage instead of getting fucked over by spotify
